Rochester 2/24 and 2/25
Unsettled weather will continue in Rochester as a pair of low pressure systems ride up the eastern seaboard bringing more shoveable snowfall to the coast. While Rochester will not see the brunt of either system, enough Atlantic moisture will spread westward to warrant snow showers on Thursday and into Friday.
Due to time constraints, things will have to be kept short today, so lets get down to the nuts and bolts…
For Wednesday, another generally gray day. Light snow showers and/or drizzle will try and sneak in from the east. It’s a tough call if they’ll make it to Rochester or not, but if your plans take you east on Wednesday towards Syracuse and beyond, you’re in for some treacherous driving. If any activity does make it here, it will be on the light side. Hardly worth mentioning really. Temperatures staying put in the mid 30s.
And on Thursday, be on the lookout for periods of snow throughout the day. Winds will be on the increase with areas of blowing snow. Snowfall amounts could be significant out of this, I’ll have more details on Wednesday.
