Albany Outlook 2-13
An upper level low will continue to spin around itself over the northeastern United States along with eastern Canada over the next several days. As a result, brisk winds from the west and northwest will be accompanied by mostly cloudy skies and the occasional flurry. Continue to dress warm as you head out the door because old man winter does not want to let up any time soon. With that in mind, keep your significant other nice and toasty tomorrow for Valentine’s Day!
By Sunday evening, a weak surface low will form over the eastern mid-Atlantic States bringing some more light snow. This low will turn northeast and move into our region Monday night into Tuesday morning where it looks like we will pick up a quick 2-4 inches of snow before the storm exits Tuesday afternoon. That storm system will move north and join in with that spinning upper level low.
As we go through this upcoming week, we will see more sunshine as the week comes to an end as that upper level low finally falls apart and moves on out of here. Unfortunately that won’t be until Friday or Saturday. Stay warm!
