Syracuse Outlook
Even though the sun was out today in Syracuse, it certainly took a while for temperatures to rise. It was just up to 50° by 8AM and we didn’t hit 60° until 1PM! That northerly wind made it feel much cooler out there. We are also very dry. Dewpoints are all the way down to the upper 30s! An area of high pressure sitting over southern Quebec will keep us dry and clear tonight and tomorrow morning, but as we go through the first day of the weekend, things will change.
Expect clouds to increase Saturday afternoon bringing in showers Saturday evening. The rain will be heavy at times. These showers will last through Saturday night and into Sunday. Expect the rain to be a bit weaker on Sunday.
Sunday night into Monday morning, there will still be a few isolated showers around central New York before another batch of rain arrives late Monday afternoon. Looks like mother nature is trying to make up for all those dry days we’ve been having in September.
Expect a high of about 68° for Saturday and 67° for Sunday before temperatures really begin to drop for the upcoming week.
