Syracuse Forecast 9-17
Besides a few showers early in the day, we’ll deal with partly sunny skies for central New York on this Thursday. It will still be a little cool with highs only in the mid to upper 60s thanks to an upper level trough over the northeast. We’ll get another break in the weather tonight before a cold front arrives for tomorrow.
Showers will pop up along this front on Friday as it passes through the region from north to south. Not a major wash out but some light rain. Any precipitation will be done by the early evening, perfect timing for the weekend to arrive. Both Saturday and Sunday are looking picture perfect as a high pressure system arrives. Little on the cool side for Saturday with highs in the mid 60s, but we will warm up nicely on Sunday with highs in the mid 7os.
Coming up next week, a storm system arrives bringing a good amount of rain. Kind of a bad start to the fall season, which will begin next Tuesday. Details as we get closer.
